Mahindra Scorpio-N now Rs 1 lakh more expensive! Check new price list

Launched in June last year, the Mahindra Scorpio-N SUV has received its first price hike in the Indian market. Get ready to shell out up to Rs 1 lakh more for the 7-seat SUV, with the base price now starting from Rs 12.74 lakh. This also means that the Scorpio-N is now more expensive than the Scorpio Classic, pricing for which continues to start from Rs 11.99 lakh (both prices, ex-showroom).

The prices for the petrol variants have been hiked by Rs 15,000 to Rs 75,000, whereas the increment on the diesel version of the SUV ranges from Rs 15,000 to Rs 1.01 lakh! The Scorpio-N Z8 diesel MT 4WD 7-seater variant has received the highest price hike, while the Z8 L AT (both diesel and petrol) has received the smallest increment.

No other changes have been made to the SUV whatsoever. It gets a 2.2-litre mHawk diesel engine that puts out 175 PS of max power 175 PS and 370 Nm of peak torque (400 Nm with AT) in its higher state of tune, and 132 PS/300 Nm in the lower tune, along with a 2.0-litre mStallion turbocharged petrol motor putting out 203 PS of max power and 370 Nm of peak torque (380 Nm with AT). Both can be had with either a 6-speed MT or a 6-speed torque converter AT.
