Mahindra XUV400 electric SUV receives 15,000 bookings: Revised prices to be announced soon
Mahindra & Mahindra recently announced that the XUV400 electric SUV has garnered more than 15,000 bookings since launch. Mahindra’s first electric SUV, XUV400 received 10,000 bookings in just 4 days. The all-electric SUV launched at an introductory price of Rs 16.99 lakh to Rs 18.99 lakh (both prices are ex-showroom) for the first 5,000 bookings only.

Mahindra will soon announce the revised prices of the XUV400 electric SUV. Offered in two variants – EC and EL, the Mahindra XUV400 e SUV gets two powertrains – a 34.5 kWh battery and a 39.4 kWh battery. The former offers a MIDC range of 375 km per charge, while the latter provides a range of 456 km (MIDC) per charge. The EC variant comes with a 3.3 kW or 7.2 kW AC charger and the top-spec EL variant gets a 7.2 kW AC charger.
The Mahindra XUV400 is powered by an electric motor, positioned on the front axle that generates a peak power of 148 bhp and a max torque of 310 Nm. The electric SUV goes from 0-100 kmph in 8.3 seconds.

Mahindra XUV400: Features
As far as features are concerned, the XUV400 gets a 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system with AndrenoX UX, Android Auto and Apple CarPlay connectivity, connected car technology and OTA updates compatibility.
On the outside, the Mahindra XUV400 is equipped with projector LED headlamps, 16-inch alloy wheels, six airbags, ABS with EBD, a MID unit and disc brakes on all wheels.
In other news, Mahindra has auctioned the XUV400 Special Edition for Rs 1 crore 75 thousands. Anand Mahindra, Chairman of Mahindra handed over the all-electric SUV to the bid winner Karunakar Kundavaram.
