Nh 8: Gurugram traffic update: NH-8 will be closed for 5 hours on Thursday | Gurgaon News
GURUGRAM: Traffic police have issued an advisory on the closure of NH-8 for five hours on Thursday. Traffic movement will be stopped for two hours in the morning and three hours in the evening as President Droupadi Murmu will be visiting the Om Shanti Retreat Centre in Bhora Kalan, police said.
According to the advisory, which was issued on Tuesday evening, traffic will be interrupted from 9am to 12pm and 2pm to 5pm on Thursday. Police have planned route diversions for smooth flow of traffic. As per the diversion plan, vehicles headed from Delhi to Jaipur using the highway will have to take a left turn from Shankar Chowk and go towards through Golf Course Road or Rajeev Chowk via Sohna Road or Gurugram-Pataudi Road. Vehicles travelling from Jaipur to Delhi, meanwhile, will have to go through Pachgaon via Kundali-Manesar-Palwal expressway.

“In order to ensure smooth traffic, police appeal to the general public to follow the traffic advisory and use the alternative routes so that they don’t face any problems,” the advisory stated.
