PM Modi inaugurates Delhi-Jaipur Expressway: Car speed limit, toll price, route, distance, and travel time

The Delhi-Jaipur stretch of the expressway starts from Sohna in Haryana and goes till Lalsot in Rajasthan and has been developed at a cost of Rs 12,150 crore. The legal top speed allowed on the expressway is set at 120 kmph. While initially, the commuters will not be charged, the charges to travel on the eight-lane expressway are fixed at Rs 390 by the NHAI.

The entire project is being built at an estimated cost of Rs 98,000 crores and will pass through six states of Delhi, Haryana, Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Gujarat and Maharashtra. It will improve trade connectivity by serving 93 PM Gati Shakti Economic Nodes, 13 ports, 8 major airports and 8 multi-modal logistic parks. The expressway is expected to have a positive impact on the development trajectory of adjoining regions and contribute to the economic transformation of the country.
