This special Grand Vitara featured a matte black paint scheme, with some additional piano black elements on the front and rear bumpers and on the sides, accentuated by chrome trim. The plastic cladding on the wheel arches were also finished in piano black. No other changes were made to the SUV. Maruti Suzuki had recently introduced the ‘Black Edition’ version of its Nexa cars, including the Grand Vitara, however, it features a glossy black exterior colour unlike the Satin Black seen on this specific model.

The Brezza was also present at the Auto Expo 2023, wrapped in a similar colour, along with another one draped in Satin Blue. Maruti Suzuki is yet to confirm if the Grand Vitara Satin Black will be brought to the market, but the company might introduce it as a limited edition version if it sees adequate demand.
As of now, the Grand Vitara is priced from Rs 10.45 lakh to Rs 19.65 lakh (ex-showroom). If launched, the special edition version will likely carry a slight premium over the corresponding regular trim levels.
